The bake sale is on the Tuesday 23rd March 2010 in our school foyer at 3.20pm.

We hope the bake sale goes well and hopefully we sell some cakes.

We were asked to bring a recipe in . I brought in mars bar deilights, mallow squares and mars bar crispies. We are going to pick just a few recipe and we are going to make them in school because of heath and safety.

The panda adoption costs only £20 and we have £9.50 all ready. We hope we sell enough cakes so we can save a panda.

Hi, we are going to tell you about our writing task.

Writing In The Myst is about a man called Mr Atrus, Who invited us to go on a adenture  to Tonahna.  We wrote him a letter to ask

him a few questions- we didnt know anything about this man! In the letter, We said we would love to come, only if he awnsered our questions.  Then, we wrote a packing list of all the thing we may need like clothes, first Aid Kit, toothpaste/toothbrush and more.

We  imagined what Tomahna would look like. Then, we drew what we we thought it looked like.  After, we went on the computer and saw what Tomahna acctully looks like. We only got to see the back of Tonahna. On Monday we will find  out what was behind the desert!!

Goodbye! :)

Can you believe we have started the new term with all this snow! And three days off school! Have you been sledging or building snowmen?  Or have you been curled up with a book drinking hot chocolate? Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Hi, Last thursday, Crombie Primary School went to HMT (Its a theatre) to go see Cinderella. It was partly in 3D so it was really funny.

When Cinderella got locked in a wardrope, We put on our 3D glasses. First, we went on a roller coaster, and it was scary (to caragh) then a mushroom phone and it  dialled a number and an oger came. It tried to  get our sweets!then there was a snake it tried to eat us. Then we went to a castle and we had to say the magic word which was Buddy!! Then the bats came out :( it was scary cause they flew at you.  The  spiders came.  The big ones tried to eat us and showed its fangs!!! And lots more.

Hi, we going to tell you about our Advent calendar. Every day at school, we take out two names out of  the santa calendar (the 2 names are people in our class) and Mrs Knott gives us a little red box to us, with dares in it. Today, it was Kurtis and Ewan. Ewan had to pull a cracker with his friend ( Kelvin) and he got a joke out of it : What do you call a train with toffee on it? A chew-chew train! ha ha ha ha- not really funny. Kurtis had to think of a joke to tell the class, but he doesnt have 1 yet.

On the first of December, it was Jordan and Craig. Jordan had to sing twinkle twinkle little star! And Craig sang Rudolf the red nosed raindeer ( you have to do ALL tasks like that with table)

On the 2nd of December, it was Aidan and Jonothan. Aidan played pass the parcel with his table, and Kirsteen won a christmas cookery book. Jonothan had to wear a santa hat for a whole day, but he failed and took it of in the playground.

Then Kurtis and Ewan did today. Everyone gets a turn at doing a dare, but its only been BOYS doing it for 3 days :(

Do you have a christmas calendar?

In sewing  we had to stitch a plane or a flower.   Scott and I made  planes. It was pretty hard but we managed to make it and we hurt our fingers.

These are some of the stitches we all did: cross stitch, chain stitch,  lazydaisy stitch. Some put beads and buttons on their flowers .

The Rollercoaster on the top of the page was made by our classmates, Rebecca, Kirsteen and Georganna.

Nola and I made one called ” The Rainbow Zig-Zag” We made it out of carboard, paper and a wrapping paper tube.

It was fab fun!

Have you made one?

Hi we are Jess and Becca

Yesterday we did first aid training. We were learning about how to treat bites and stings, how to look after someone who is in shock or has minor or extreme bleeding, burns and amputation (amputation is where you lose a limb) .

We bandaged up each other and tied our arms in slings. It was really hard. The best thing you can use for a sling is the casualty’s jumper.

We are now qualified to look after someone who is in any of the conditions above.
